Quick connections for water

Besides the air chuck style what are you using?

I've got a frame mounted tank and need a remote connection (bumper or body panel). Preferably something that auto-shuts so I dont need to cap it.

My tank is on the roof rack, so gravity feed. I added a boiler drain with common garden hose quick connects, and just snap the hose on and off as needed. No drips when disconnected. I fitted a cheap stainless bidet hose from Home Depot and snap it on as needed. Trigger operated, positive off, hangs on rack when not needed.

I got mine in the garden section at Home Depot. Plastic, but three years so far on the first one. Cheap, so I carry a spare. Cool feature is that I can fill the tank by snapping a garden hose onto the drain and just turn on the water until it blows out the top.

Cole Parmer (Google search) sells great quick disconnects. Some have valves, some are dripless, etc.
