My truck is used as a work truck and dd most of the time, and one of the things I'm trying to accomplish with my build is to be able to take almost everything back out after a trip. I would like a dual battery setup to run my fridge, some small lights, a 12v water pump and maybe charge some electronics. I would prefer to keep it in the back of the truck in my drawer system/sleeping platform.
Does anybody make a good "quick disconnect" setup for a battery so I could remove the battery when not in use along with my bed drawer system?
The engine bay is cramped in my 2nd gen taco and I would like to put my ARB compressor in the bay along with a larger battery and then put a second battery in the rear for removal when not in use. Also on that note, if it is possible would I assume I could run two batteries in tandem in the rear for longer life?
