Quick Disconnect Dual Battery

My truck is used as a work truck and dd most of the time, and one of the things I'm trying to accomplish with my build is to be able to take almost everything back out after a trip. I would like a dual battery setup to run my fridge, some small lights, a 12v water pump and maybe charge some electronics. I would prefer to keep it in the back of the truck in my drawer system/sleeping platform.

Does anybody make a good "quick disconnect" setup for a battery so I could remove the battery when not in use along with my bed drawer system?

The engine bay is cramped in my 2nd gen taco and I would like to put my ARB compressor in the bay along with a larger battery and then put a second battery in the rear for removal when not in use. Also on that note, if it is possible would I assume I could run two batteries in tandem in the rear for longer life?

Try Anderson connectors, they are available in different of sizes and amperages. Power Werx is a good supplier

I came up with another question as well, but I'm new to dual battery stuff and really electric/wiring in general so bear with me.. Since the battery won't always be hooked up to the truck, I would rather not have a potentially live wire floating around in the bed of my truck.. I'm going to use the Blue Sea ML ACR kit and by doing so, I presume that turning the switch to the "off position" would kill any power that would have ran to the second battery?

I'm planning to do a dual battery set up as well, for both my LJ81 and LWB, but since I won't ever be using them at the same time, I'll only have one deep cycle battery that can be swapped between the two. I'm keeping mine simple, just a solenoid hooked into the ignition switch to isolate the second battery, aka http://www.expeditionportal.com/for...ke-a-cheap-isolated-dual-battery-setup-for-50 and will put a switch in the dash so I can turn off the solenoid when the second battery isn't there.

You can also get covers for the Anderson plugs - good to keep crud out of the plug if it's in the bed of your truck, regardless of whether the wire is live or not.

Ok that's pretty much what I was looking for. I'm now debating whether to use Anderson connectors or Amphenol connectors. The Amphenol may be the way to go, they seem way over built.
