Quite possibly the longest winch extension ever!

Take a look at this video of Roothy from 4wdAction getting stuck and being assisted by a Land Rover. The Land Rover on the other side of the River must have the longest winch extension I have ever seen.

I wonder how many wraps were on the winch of the FJ because I would have thought his own winch would have pulled a little harder than that.

We've made a few for Australia that are 300 feet long, along with some 200 foot long winch ropes! I am waiting for someone to order a 2400 foot spool with eyes on both ends of it as a giant extension.

I guess when you are going to help winch someone across a river 300' gets short quickly.

Interesting that they never went at it with a shovel or Maxtrax or anything to help get the underbelly up off the ground.
