I thought I’d post this here as I’ve gotten a lot of incredible info and help from this forum.
I’m a bad Jeep owner. I haven’t had the soft top on the jeep for almost 3 years. I didn’t have the means to lift and store the hard top. I’ve seen a number of great ideas on lifts, and I took some of those ideas and modified to suit my need/garage.
I used the Racor lift as the basic lifting platform, but installed the Racor on rails so I could lift and move my rack back onto a garage loft. I’ve used the system now for a few months to also lift some other tools for storage, like my table saw, etc.
Have a look-see. I’m not a video guy, and my edditing is very limited. But hopefully you’ll get the idea, and may find it helpful.
