Ram has a new Ramcharger coming next year that is a 1500 with a 92kWh battery pack and a V6 powered generator. It is essentially going to be similar to how modern diesel-electric locomotives operate. You can operate it normally as a BEV with pretty good range, but if you need longer range, the gas engine kicks on. This would be great if they put it in HDs. If they had this option in a 5500, that would be a great platform for an expedition vehicle!
