on my second classic now. still have the first for parts, which has come in hannnndddyyyyy. love them, addicted to some extent but wouldve lit it on fire a long time ago if i couldnt do the work myself, still wallk up to iy with a match in my hands though. before i bought the first one, from a used car lot, i went to rangerovers.net. awesome site, tons of info. first thing i remember reading was "if you want a vehicle thats always working properly, look elsewhere" or something like that. switches,relays,dash lights... somethings always a little off. not unuseable, but off.
i usually tell people when they ask about it, im sure its no different than an old jag, when something breaks, first figure out if you really need that item or can bypass to something different. (see stereo wiring diagram for example, 2 amps with 10 wires ea.?)
