Why?

Not all the axles are under power?

Why not pull a trailer?

It certainly will not win any beauty pageants. I don't have a clue as to its functionality... but it would look much cooler as a half track setup, IMO.

That's kind of like sleeping with an ugly chick. It'll get you to the same place but there are so many better ways to do it.

(Some of my lunch is now on my keyboard!)

It can also be equated to riding a moped around town. It can be fun... as long as nobody finds out!

Looking at this:

And driving this:

I cannot help but wonder how much those rear tyres scrubs/rubs the asphalt when turning with that kind of wheelbase between axle 2 and 3...

I think that sums it up pretty well. It was obviously built for a purpose (apparently toting around a balloon) but i can think of many better ways to accomplish the task. HOWEVER... I would take the back half and make a sweet trailer out of it!:ylsmoke:

take a look at it like this....

cut off the frame after the rangie ends, and you have a rig with a 90* departure angle. modify the front to match and slap some bigger tires on it and lockers and you have an extremely capable trail rig that can drive to the trails.

THEN turn the truck bed into a trailer and you can do rockcrawling expeditions! ;)

i can still see value in that pile.

rovers are ugly enough... but this one takes the cake.

On a side not, neat concept, and I respect the hours of work that went into it.
