Rear Cargo Platform 2013 Rubicon Unlimited

This is my first post on this forum and my most time consuming project on the jeep thus far. Please be patient with me I am in no means a computer person but I wanted to document my work as I go. The whole interior body has been lined with 3 full coats of Raptor UPOL liner. As most people know with JK's once the carpet is gone the storage tub makes it a pain to put cargo in the rear and i really am not up for spending 1200.00 on a drawer system. I have come up with plans to start with a solid Platform made of Birch and Oak and sealed and coated with the same Raptor Liner. Once I have that done I will be able to build on to that with what ever configuration I need. This will probably be picture heavy i mean what is a thread without pictures.

G2CU Lifesaver I would assume that the lifesaver is in reference to either being a lifeguard via the beach or a MT etc. As for the pics.. I was having issue of my own.. every time I posted a topic (my mild build) and redirected images to my google+ page..At first they would show up, but over time these images would go blank.. No help from Google+ either.. I guess this means I need to find an alternate image storage site.. Yet I have Blogger and the images are showing up there just fine.

I guess what I'm getting at.. there could be a size or resolution issue with your images.. So could your post them from another photo storage site?.. Follow this thread to see if there is anything there that can better help you:

Thanks for the info

I am a Firefighter/Paramedic - Special Operations Technician in South Florida. Been doing it now for 13 years and love everyday. Thanks for the info, the only thing i can think of is it must be the picture size. I have tried everything and am about to pull this thread because what is a build without pictures.

Lifesaver, Don't be so hard on yourself.. I've been the same boat for years.. like I said.. can you try to link to images off site?.. something like Photobucket, snapfish, flickr.. and you're prob right on the size reference I see this all the time at near all the forums I venture.. Do you have the images off site?.. if so post the link and I'll help you with the redirects.

If you want dead-easy photo hosting, you can also look at imgur.com

I like them because they will actually give you the link to the picture with the BBCode tags already wrapped around. All you do is click their copy button and paste it into your message... Plus they have drag-n-drop uploading, etc. VERY simple.
