I used gasoline filters from a lawnmower for mine (the tubing size was right and the filters were easy to obtain). The rear diff breather runs up behind one of the tailights.
Well, I went through about a 2-3 feet stream twice last week...I guess it worked fine, no issues yet. :thumbup:
I am going to reroute to the gas filler compartment though. Seems like an area that does not get as much dirt in in it and I cab check and change the filter easier.
I have a Frontier, but I routed mine behind the tail light. I used an inline fuel filter from a lawn mower and a piece of metal screen to keep the bigger junk out. Seems to work really well.
