I am currently running an OME 2895 spring right now on my 4th Gen. Its a 2 inch lift and has a spring rate of about 260 LB.
Paired with a bilstein 5100, I came to learn about the spring rate / shock mismatch, which became pretty obvious after some serious use.
My question to you... for those who are running the OME 2895, what shock have you paired it with, and how do you like it?
Here are some additional research notes I came up with...
The ICON 2" (Part 52700) springs have a 200 lb rate which are supposed to pair up very well with the 2.0 and 2.0 RR shocks.
If I went with an ICON 2.0, I would probably have to get them re-valved to match perfectly. Aside from the OME shock, what else would you recommend?
Does anyone know the target matched spring rate the ICON 2.5" RR shocks were designed for? I assume its their 3" Overland springs but I dont see any spring rate data on their website.
