Rehoboth DL and Cape Hatteras

Kelsey came out to visit for almost two weeks, so we went up to my Aunt and Uncles beach house in Rehoboth DL and then spent 4 days camping in the Frisco Federal campground south of Cape Hatteras.

The kayak is awesome in the surf! The long narrow hull cuts right through the waves.

Beached finally! First attempt I was pushed sideways and rolled. Climbing back aboard is not nearly as easy as it looks either!

On Saturdays I volunteer at the Roanoke Island Aquarium, cleaning the shark tank.

Hey, sorry I missed you on our trip down to Core Banks, NC. I hope to make it down again in Oct.

It was a blast, probably the best leave I've taken yet! Could have done with a much less crowded beach, and no mosquitoes, but ya know...it really was an awesome time. Are you doing to the ExPo meet in Oct.?
