Repeater Database apps for Iphone

Wondering if anyone has and/or has used either of these APPs for Iphone? Useful? Worth the cash?

I know you can get a book, but I would think that something like this could always be kept up to date easier.

A question for Freq Finder - does it know your position based on GPS info or do you need a cell signal? Is the database loaded in the APP and available even without cell signal?

Are there better options I'm not aware of?

I downloaded iHam for $4.99, it is easy enough to use. I'll check it out on my trip to Colorado this weekend.

I just downloaded the iHam app and will also leave some thoughts after using it for a couple of months.

Initially speaking, it seems very convenient. :sombrero:
