i hate to use the lurker line .....but it beats watching from the white panel van perv line
.....time has come to retire current ride and move on....ok maybe not moving on but
more ....currently 98 zj on 35 locked and modded(iro long arms) ...started just wanted to surf fish..
a few years...and many thousands of dollars to a whole lot of badd assery .
got to pull down a friends garage.. been to monument valley..to the keys even peed on
the Alamo sry did not know that was a big deal it was in the back, late at night just passing thru
current ride showing her age and rough life... i have another 98 with the 5.9 sounds more fun for
sure . i get to choose with mods worked which did not..i guess starting over is never easy .
but i can not help i m giving up on the old instead of moving forward on the new or kinda of the same..
..POINT...am i alone in feeling the time and energy spent not even going to add the dollars
THAT I AM ENDING A LONG TERM RELATIONSHIP.. honestly if i put that amount of energy
in they would have been different .....out with the old in with the new pix to follow..
that's life..

I've had my ZJ since 2000, longer than I've known my wife and most of my friends. Many other vehicles have come and gone since then, but it'll take a massively catastrophic failure to my ZJ for me to ever get rid of it.

I've had my ZJ 2 months less than Dave has had his, and I bought a WJ to replace it. It is sitting in my driveway because I can't seem to get rid of it.

My wife is always asking what my issues are with getting rid of jeeps, she doesn't understand, you just get attached to them for some reason..

Yeah. I know the feeling.

My wife is starting to talk about retiring her 253k mile Liberty. Jeep has been through a lot and tried my wrenching skill with a two valve seat failures and two transmission replacements (one I think is my fault though, should have just spent the money on a modded rebuilt). It's going to need tires again. The body has cancer by the third brake light. Recently needed to replace the bulb there. Installed an LED bulb and had to use silicon sealant to glue the light assembly in place.
