A huge benefit of RHD is that it prevents you from becoming lazy! Like making you get out of the car instead of going through the drivethru.
I can see no other reason than passing (110 300tdi?!?!?) on a two lane, that I would change mine..
Which I won't

Ok... So I'm convinced... worse case scenario I convert to LHD. :)

The problem I'm having now is selling my old car :( I have someone who wants to buy it but I'm having a hard time letting it go.. I have put soo much blood, sweat and tears into it. It was finally becoming what I wanted it to be, but it'll never get decent Gas Mileage, nor will it ever hold the dogs and the family.

We'll see what happens in the next few days. Thanks for all the friendly advice guys!!

One last question... Will It be uncomfortable to drive 2500 miles home? Should I have it shipped? Seems like it'd be a fun 'getting to know you' driving it across country.

Ditto what the others said. The biggest issue for me is it is sometimes when turning left at a traffic light, if there is no left turn arrow, it is hard to see if you are safe to go, especially if there is a big truck facing you trying to turn left.

Also pulling out to pass is difficult, but I rarely have to do that with 95 horsepower. My passenger helps.

If you have to go through tollboths, it is a real pain in the butt, but I only did that once.

One advantage is being able to get real close to the right hand edge when you pass someone on a tight dirt mountain road.

Good point on left arrows. If I'm not sure, I'll just wait. I tend to use the same sort of mindset that I'm in when on my bike, in heavy traffic. Power windows are a real benefit when paying tolls. I also keep my passenger seat racked all the way back, for visibility.

In terms of driving it 2500 miles, I guess it depends on the condition of the rig, but in terms of driving it from the RHS, after the first 10 miles, you'll feel fine. :smiley_drive:
