NICE!!!! Alot of the rivers we run are like that, The Smith was down to a trickle when we got there. Idaho should be really good for a few months seeing as they still have so damn much snow.

Thanks Grahmfiter.

Yeah, Firefighter looking for a department, Was a volly, but I can't keep up with my hours and work fuill time. I quit Wildland Firefiughting after a particularly nast burn over and some really shoddy IC protection, READ: they saw it coming and neglected to tell us that the fire had lept the line... Currently I'm an EMT-I who works as an ER-Tech in a local ER. I'm Also a Swiftwater Rescue Tech and I help out with local SAR when I can.

You?

Post a thread with your pics, I never get sick of seeing river trip pics.

Cheers

Dave

Dave,

I work for Los Angeles City Fire. We are hiring right now. Pay is good and lots of good fires both structure and wildland. We have 10 engines in Northern California right now. www.lafd.org

Thanks for the heads up KellyMoe, I'll look them up online if I can.

I'm actualy going to start Nursing school in the fall (I only have 2 years to complete) and then I'm really going back to testing as much as I can. I'd idealy like to do both. With Today's economy, I'm damn glad I'm in EMS/public safety and healthcare, casue my job isn't going anywhere eh ;)

Cheers

Wow sounds like a fun trip. I just found this thread while browsing through late at night. Craziest part is that we were actually in Rome Station on the night of the 23rd. A group of ten rigs was exploring the area, three of us looked into camping at the Day use area there but saw people already camped there (might've been you) and we headed over toward the pillars.
