Roof mounted, pressurized solar shower

Just saw this on Kickstarter. Looks like a good idea. I've got no affiliation with the project owner. He's selling these for $210 a pop for a pretty solid looking product. Seems like something you could diy in black pvc for a reasonable price.

I like it, but seems a bit pricy. I feel I could build one, as you said, for much cheaper and do the same thing.

Been looking at this for a while, but they are priced at $299 or more anywhere that I have seen retailing it. I think it's a nice looking product and I like the simplicity, but it's plausible to build my own variation for a third or less of this. The early bird special on the kickstarter would have been an excellent price, the current $210 almost seems fair but I don't like the risk and mystery of when it might arrive.

There was litterally a thread about this same product about a week ago. The thing that is nice about it is that it is made of alluminium, sooo technically you could store potable water in there. But yea, I have been thinknig of making on out of pvc as well.
