Hello, new to this forum. I have been a jeeper most of my life and my most recent buy is a 2000 Jeep Sport. I lost a 2003 Rubicon which was a well built DD and trail rig to fire in May. As my wife and I evaluated what to do next, I found that I still "need" a jeep, and found this sport in my cash price range.
It already has the start of a solid build: ARB's front and rear, 3" BDS lift, K&N cold air, cat back exhaust and enlarged throttle body (don't know manufacturer of these two). I was able to sal vage some of the parts from my Rubi, so have already sanded repainted and mounted a Big Daddy Off Road front bumper and an Olympic rear bumper with a 2" receiver. Trying to do more of an expedition/dd/trail vehicle with this.
We also just bought a Rockwood Pop Up camper, the smallest model, and so far it tows great behind the jeep. Plans are to modify slightly so we can pull it on trails.
What I am looking for is advice on a roof rack for the TJ. I automatically think of the Garvin Wilderness Roof Rack, but thought I'd see if anyone on here could share opinions on this or other models.
Thanks,
John
