rough ride?

Also check the rear shackle angle. With more arch the rear springs may have pulled the rear shackle forward so it works against the springs when they try to flex. Lots of info on Naxja.org. here's a representative thread:

People either relocate the shackle mount point some how or remove a few leaves to allow the pack to flatten out and then compensate for the lower height with a longer shackle (1.5) or replacing the spring mount with a u-bolt eliminator (basically slightly a taller spring mount.)

Also, Make sure you don't have the shackle bolts too tight. When I first put my springs on a had them too tight and the ride was brutal.

I run BFG 32x11.5's with 10" wide wheels on my wrangler @ 28 PSI, which seems to be the sweet spot for me.

X2 on the add weight.
Put 700 - 1000lbs back there and go on a light wheelin trip. Flex it some with the weight in there. It will just take time to break in stiff rear springs.
