RR MKIII question - because I love my wife

I bought a 2008 RR for my wife this Christmas. She loves it! She really loves music and listens to it fairly loud and is sort of a bass fiend at times...

I tell you this because I was wanting to surprise her with an aftermarket subwoofer upgrade. This is not something I would ever do to my car and she would never ask for it, however, the only non-stellar review was that everything was perfect but she wishes it had just a little more bass. The best part is she listens to literally every type of music so it is just an every few songs kind of wish.

I know this forum is mostly about performance and practicality but there are a lot of knowledgable members here and I view it as an electrical question more so than a sound system upgrade.

Thanks! I will register at that forum to see if he has pictures of the finished install. It appears that he may have fabbed his own box. If this ever happens I will post a finished picture.

The things we do As long as it does not take up too much space I will leave it when it is handed down to me in 5 years or so.

I would try putting the subs directly into the tailgate if you're good at fabrication. There may even be speakers already there but I'm not sure as I don't have a MKIII.

Forget a sub woofer. Install a sub shaker under the front seat. (the audio version of: http://www.thebuttkicker.com/the-technology)

Uses magnet technology to transmit lows that a woofer can't touch.
