RTT for Wrangler TJ

Does anyone have any pictures of roof top tents on TJ Wranglers? I would like to put something on mine, but would prefer to not have to put an external roof rack on first. Is there anything that mounts to the cage?

I am sure you could use cross bars and come up with a mount system on the roll bars but the top would have to be down for that... I have seen some mounting to the hard top on the JK with success but I don't know how the JK and TJ hardtops compare in strength.

What type of rack is that mounted to? Do you have any other pictures of it?

I used an ATV ramp and followed this build. I had the rack welded insteadof rivets.

The rack is super strong.

Anyone out there with a Cargo Rack should invest in reinforcing the backmounts or make your own.
