This ad popped up on Craigs today. I have no affiliation with this person and have no idea about the truck. But if it's for real it sounds like a free giant military truck and trailer!

I once read a story about a lady that advertised she was moving and had to part with everything. Address was provided and folks were told to pick items up at their convenience. Everything was free. Back door was open. Yeah, the house was gutted and even the kitchen sink was taken. The owner knew nothing about the CL ad and phoned the police. Things got real ugly. Albin, go hook up to it and start enjoying a real military rig!

I know that truck. It has been there for YEARS. I used to threaten my wife that I would come home with it someday. My inlaws live in Citrus Heights.

That's hilarious. My wife would have a konniption fit if I brought that home (not to mention the grief it would cause my neighbors). :sombrero:

The ad essentially read that the guy lost his lease on the Army Navy store site and the truck had to go by the weekend. He said it ran but had not been run in a while and if you came and got it he would like you to take the trailer too.

Wonder why it got flagged, if it was fake or he got overwhelmed by responses.

Wait no, it's still there. The text reads:

"M35a2 Military Truck I have a vehicle that must go. I lost my lease on Auburn Blvd 7512 the old Norca Army Navy store I have no room to store. This vehicle must go or the landlord is going to tow it out. Must be gone by this weekend. This vehicle is free to the person with the time to move it. It runs great hoever i have not started it in a few years. It is muti fuel and just a ton of fun. Thanks for the help. Also if you come and take the the truck I would love to have the trailer taken at the same time...

I contacted the owner, Jeff Cooper, and this is completely false and the vehicle has been removed.
