Over the past couple of weeks, I've had the pleasure to meet several new people in my area through the Military Jeeper site. Even though these are Jeepers they are more into adventure travel than rock/hard trails. None of these folks have had a chance to find any of the back roads in our local mountains (Sacramentos in Southern NM) and asked me to show them some.
The pics are from both trips, the trails are your basic FS roads, some more challenging than others and the scenery from all is beautiful.

Great Stuff! Thanks for sharing. I was out there on Saturday mountain biking the Rim Trail. It was non-stop rain and flooding from Cloudcroft, down Karr Canyon and into High Rolls. Beautiful place you have in your extended backyard. The Cherokee is looking good.

The rain was pretty good that day, quite slick on the road between High Rolls and La Luz Canyon, got sideways a couple of times, and that was just crawling along. Glad you made it out ok, Don't think I'd want to be out on a Mtn Bike.
