Hey guys,
I am heading down to san felipe on march 9th for the weekend. I was initially going to spectate the san felipe 250 score race, but it got relocated to the other side of the peninsula, but im still going to SF cuz its always a good time.
I was wondering if you guys knew of some cool places to ecplore around there. I heard the hot springs near puertocitos is cool and manotomi wash. Anyone have any other suggestions and hopefully some gps files/maps of your adventures,
thanks

The boardwalk in San Felipe has some cool restaurants, bars, and street vendors. The hot springs at Puertecitos are super hot, but the tide has to be out. If you time the tide right you can check them out. Lots of great desert and coastline south of San Felipe. Have a great trip.

Depending on the tide(not at high tide), you can drive the beach from just south of San Felipe to just north of Puertocitos. I believe Matomi wash is what you are referring to. There are several spring fed canyons WNW of San Felipe to hike, into the Sierra San Pedro Matir.
