San Rafael Swell 03/09/10

Three of us tried our hand at some of the SRS yesterday. We started out at MM 131 and headed south. Mistake. Snow was about 2' deep and decided to head north toward the Wedge. We got a side road going to some mines, so off we went. Snow was only about 12" - 18" deep but some areas were just too muddy. By 4pm it was starting to snow hard so we decided to head back to Green River and finish out the day at Ray's!

I was going to cut through the swell on my way to Moab next week--but from the looks of all that snow/mud there is no way my rig would make it :Wow1:
