I've seen sand tracks mounted on "L" tracks on the side of vehicles. How are the "L" tracks mounted to the vehicle? Nutserts? Then use a "L" track threaded stud to mount the tracks?
The studs are only an inch long so a coupler would be needed to be long enough to go through the tracks.
