Scepter gas/water cans fit old Nato holders?

Does anyone know if the Scepter line of water and gas cans will fit into the old style NATO Jerry Can Holders?

I want to add some extra water cans to the back of my camper...
I found some old style NATO gas can holders on the web for $10 each...
But I want to be sure they will fit the Scepter line of cans.
Anyone know?
