Scout Utility Trailer

I am in the process of building a trailer for our scout troop. We do not need to sleep in it, so all of the space will be set up for carrying gear. I do not have a site to host the picture, but it is an 8' utility truck bed, with a utility topper that opens completely on 3 sides. It will have room in front of the topper for a cooler and 2 5 gallon water jugs. We hope to put it on some old Land Cruiser lift springs (long, but not too flexy) with a 3500 lb axle and some 33's.

I have it all sketched up in sketchup. I'll go work on photobucket and see if we can't get some pics up.

I hope to make a firewood basket up front by extending the frame rails by 2 feet. We may eventually build a spare tire carrier off the back bumper. we may also do a roof rack using the ladder rack (as seen in the sketchup) for a roof rack for canoes or additional gear (like lodgepoles for pioneering merit badge, etc.). Here is a pic of the truck bed from the sales ad online, we plan to paint the truck bed white with enamel paint to match the topper.
