Sd rack?

This maybe a dumb question, but I would like to know. How do you know if it is a real SD rack? I have what I think is an SD rack for my disco 1, but I am faced with the old issue of the RTT mounting. If it is a real SD I am going to sell it. If it is just a copy its cutting time.

I saw some where that the SD racks have a triangular base and the r knock off racks have square mounts. I don't however know for sure if that is the best way to tell. So if someone else knows more than me speak up!

True. SD's have tri mounts and others have rec.

Take a look at the feet on this rack. It's a genuine SD rack. The mounting brackets have a trapezoidal shape to them and the metal is pressed to wrap around the base of the rack.

The other tell tale sign of a SD rack is that in addition to the two bolts that go horizontally into the rack, there's a third mounting bolt (countersunk allen head bolt IIRC) on each foot that goes up vertically through the bottom of the bracket into the mounting foot of the rack.

An SD rack it is. For my next trip I will mount it on the top rails, but I think I plan to sell it. Thanks for the help.
