Seating for a TJ...

Hey all,
We're in the planning stages of turning our TJ from mall-crawler to ExPo vehicle.
The driver's seat is awful- torn, missing foam, so that I lean to the left when driving! Not too comfy.
Any suggestions on reasonably priced options for new seats? We're not using the rear bench, so we just need fronts.
Thanks!

well let me know when you find out. I hate the seats in my jeep.
I have sat in a few that had aftermarket seats like Mastercraft
Rubicon seat, racecraft and bestop. None of them were great.
The mastercrafts with the lumber support were better then stock
but bucuse of there design there hard to get in and out of, specialy if
your jeep is lifted on 35" tall tires. My wife realy hated getting in and out.
Also the headrests on the stock jeep are to tall and cause blindspots.
So a adjustable headrest would be good.

Thanks for the response, Dan!
So, you liked them? Did you get a chance to do a long road trip or extended expedition on them? Wondering if they're long-haul comfortable.

Needs a LIFE!
the seats from WJ will bolt in... but you will need the frame to get all the options to work... That will require a little modification work...

I believe they are leather seats some have heat!!!

I was just going to suggest this. Go to a few used car lots to see if they suit you (go for a test drive).

Bring a measuring tape. Check the width of the seats. I've never seen WJ seats in a TJ but I'm thinking they should work. People put them in XJs.
