Hi all, i just purchased a european made Beka Truck bed camper that i plan to mount on a 2002 4 door shorted tacoma. I know that originally the camper came into North America through Germany on the back of a Mitsubishi diesel 4 door shortbed. i can't seem to find hardly any info on the internet about these campers. The little info i can find is in Dutch as the campers were made in Netherlands, but seems they have been out of production for a long while and probably never were imported to the United States. I bought the camper for several of its unique features including it winter capabilities, lightweight build, and extensive features for camper built for a 5ft truck bed. One unique features is its separate steal frame mounting bracket which is bolted to the truck bed then connected to the camper. Thus taking some of the load off the turnbuckles. Any info or background on these campers would be appreciated. I can't seem to upload photos right now but i'll try again later...
