self destructing jack

went to use my LR jack yesterday,,,,,,,

and it does not work......mmmmmm


seemingly my jack decided to over pressure the seal behind the jack valve pushing it out and leaking out all of the hydraulic oil all on its own, while sitting in the factory mount

No oily no jacky.....

I've only used it once around a year ago...

Go check your jacks..............take it out, check underneath for oil, and test for function.

Is this where I insert the English Engineering = leaks oil joke in poor taste?

I once worked on a then brand new Lola T-8990 (1989 Sports 2000). It came with a dry sump oil pan that was an integral part of the chassis. The pan leaked past the O-rings. I never could understand how that could be.
