Don't sell the Burb.... You can get custody without an attorney, it's easy. You're only entitled to "equal" custody, in other words 50/50, unless you have good cause why the other parent shouldn't. Common misconception that you need an attorney. The courts are designed for people, not attorney's. As long as you're a good parent, the courts will only consider what's best for the kids, not the parents. Go to court prepared though. I spent $16,780 on an attorney in a year, i've gotten farther on my own in less time. Attorney's are there to drag it out and make money, they don't care about you or your kids. Trust me, go without one and keep the burb.
