I just returned from the SEMA show, pretty incredible experience.... I've posted about 1/3 of my pics on Flickr as restorejeepmg, I'll be compressing and uploading the rest over time.

I got all the pics uploaded but had to abandon Flikr, they limit numbers as well as size so I went to Webshots.com, had to change the name, restorejeepmg was taken(?) so it's cjatheart there at webshots....

Thanks for putting up the links Scott, webshots isn't the most navigable site in my opinion so here SHOULD be a link

it was a real hoot, exhausting, but well worth it and if I can go again next year I will. I know you cannot possibly see it all in the week it's there, at least not if you want to really look and talk to the vendors along the way.

Couple of thoughts/impressions:
1) if you are just now building, plan on using 17" wheels, the 15s are on the way out
2) the vendors in the booths dont necessarily know their products so do your own research and don't rely on what they tell you
3) take a back pack, dont plan on using the swag bags they give out, get hard to carry after a while
4) there are some incredibly gifted, imaginative folks out there who not only think up very cool stuff, they can make it work
5) someone needs to tell car builders that just because you an do something doesnt mean you should......
6) who knew Lambos, Bentlys and Ferraris could become boring?
