Sheepskin seat covers, Who is using them ? The good, the bad ?

I have been thinking about sheepskin seat covers (good ones) not cheap ones. A custom seat cover maker has highly recommended them to me. He says they are warm in the winter and cool in the summer. And also very durable and comfortable if you spend the money and buy good ones. My wife's concern is we spend ALOT of time in the desert and she is afraid perspiration will eventually make them smell. We have been told that sheepskin will actually wick away perspiration and odors. Truth ?? Anybody use good sheepskin seat covers, and especially in warm climates.

Great covers have used them in my Mercedes AMG Super Coupe, my Burb and various muscle cars I like the natural type w/o dyes they do not keep in odors my last set lasted 10 years then hide started cracking will be replacing them soon. My favorites are sheep skin then heavy canvas duct covers.

I used to run a set when we lived in South Carolina (warm and humid). Reasonably comfortable but keeping them clean was an issue, primarily for dust/dry dirt. Vacuum cleaner wasn't enough. They had to come out about every six months for a through soaking cleaning.

I used them for years in Australia in my 110 , proper hides , worked brilliant , still use them in Uk so that covers most climates :smiley_drive:

Not cool in the summer. Warm in the winter, warm in the summer.

I prefer Wet Okole seat covers. Thier also a bit warm in the summer, heaven in the winter. I just point the AC at my balls.
