Shocks or Suspension Question for 1st Gen

I have a 1st gen monty and the shocks are toast. I would like to install an OME suspension, but I am currently redoing the whole entire rig so I my funds are getting eaten up rather quickly. Anybody have suggestions or something they have tried and liked or didn't like?

On road, it will be a slightly stiffer ride than the original ones from the factory but off road it will ride like 'butta' (assuming this is your goal since you're on here and considering ARB shocks).:smiley_drive:

BTW, if you put bigger stiffer side wall'd tires on, you can adjust their air pressure to a degree in an effort to increase your comfort. There is a limit to how much you can do this and also a possibility they will be too low and under-inflated which can be dangerous on road and this may adversely affect tire wear so be careful if you elect to do this.
