Short Trip Along the Raglan to Kawhia Coast, North Island, NZ

Michelle and I decided it might be a great fall day to take a day trip over to the Raglan Coast. The breeze was up so we knew the kite surfers would be out in force, and indeed they were.

We love the Raglan area for the panoramic vistas, beautiful flora and fauna (like the rest of NZ), and the minimal traffic along the metal roads where the sheep and cattle have better views than many in our native USA.

As mentioned, the breeze was kicking but there was a bit of cloud and rain hanging around Mt. Kairoi and patchy storms out to sea.
