Slee bumper receiver

Has anybody pulled a trailer with one of these

I took the trailer hitch off to gain clearance when I mounted the bumper, thinking I would probably not need it. I know Slee will not comment on their bumper receivers ability to be used as a hitch but wondering if any body has.
Thanks

From the website:
This receiver bolts directly to the existing holes in the rear cross member of the 1991-97 Toyota Land Cruiser. It allows for the use of any 2" Receiver accessories such as a bike or ski rack. This receiver isn't rated for towing.
That being said, FJ40's had those bolt on receivers on them for years.

The website only says that the bumper mount directly to the frame and that the receiver is not trailer rated. The implication of the lack of trailer rating has more to do with liability than what it can do. No planing on getting a trailer any time soon, just more curious of the possibility

This a quote directly from Slee from another forum:

We have looked at getting the bumper rated. The problem is cost and no-one can actually tell you how to do it. I can have the bumper tested to SAE standards for a class II or Class III receiver*(or whatever we want). The testing lab will then give you a report that the bumper has passed the applicable test, however this in itself is not a rating.*

When a supplier rates a*receiver, they warrantee that the truck can tow the stated capacity using the*receiver*as bolted to their vehicle in the factory approved way, for the duration of the*life*of the truck. Obviously we can not do that.*

That is at least how I understood it when I looked into it. That said, the*King*Kamper is sexy behind the 100

And no, this is not an endorsement that you can tow with the bumper.

I tow an Adventure a Trailer with the bumper on 100 series. I do recall when he asked about, Christo gave the usual disclaimer, but was pretty specific about never using it as a recovery point as shown in the photo. Not sure why I would when there are two specific recovery points built in. FWIW...

Thanks but I do not use the receiver for a recovery point since I already have 4 others two attached the frame and two on the bumper, I us the hitch more for a d ring storage location because it is far less noisy there than on the bumper
