Here's another nifty offroad camper from Australia. The chassis has a torsion-free mount for the camper.

Here's a Youtube video showing the Adventurer in action.

The web site has several photo albums showing customers using the SLR Adventurer around the world.

The camper in the photos is mounted on an Isuzu NPS300 4x4, a vehicle not imported to USA. The Mitsubishi Fuso Canter is a similar-size chassis.

The company has a Facebook page, where you can see photos of the Adventurer, a caravan, and a camper on a heavy truck chassis.

In my opinion, these campers are not really in the same league as ATW or Earthcruiser.
The camper body is made using caravan sheeting techniques, not FRP composite technology.
If you like caravans then you will probably like these campers too, but having been to their factory I would not be as confident of their durability in off road scenarios.

AFAIK, they only build campers on the Isuzu NPS (which has a flat subframe).

I do prefer the hard top to the pop top of the ATW / Earthcruiser but the almost 2.5m width would be a concern on tight tracks. It looks like the camper is too tall to be removed and shipped in a hi-top container so I guess RORO is the only option for international travel?
