SLS Airbag Spacers

I'm looking at getting spacers for the SLS air bag system....have to stay with these for too many reasons, but my question is has anyone had experience with them.

Two companies come to mind, one Rovertyme offcourse and Toddco. The Rovertyme spacer are slightly offset in the front to compensensate for the airbag being lifted and allow it to follow a similar arc to stock. Toddco does not seem to have this feature...has anyone had experience with these?

Thanks

i have the rovertym spacers. they are the ones you should get because of the offset. even with the angle rovertym has the airbags are still slightly off camber, i definitely wouldn't want the strait spacers.

Thanks for the reply. I'll definetly go with them.

What kind of tires, and springs and shocks in the front are you running?

Do you have any pics of the setup?

Thanks.

no, i don't have any pics that show the set up at the moment that i can find. ome shocks of course and ome 761 springs up front which is the d1 medium duty. 265/60/18 for now and 265/70's in the next few weeks.

I'll probably go with same setup except with the Hd springs for the front as the Rover has truck battery, bull bars and the winch is coming.

I'll intitally be staying with the 18's and was looking at same tire size. Which brand?

Thanks

brand of tires is a personal prefrence and based on your needs and experiences. i use hankook dynapro a.t.'s. good at all except wet sticky southern red clay.

I agree with you that brand of tires are personal preference choices.

For myself, I prefer MT tires and they are very limited in the 18 in size.

Just to be curious, why do you need to stay with the air springs? When I switched from air springs to my ome lift it was like I was driving a whole new vehicle.

well... it's comfy number one, number two if you have extra passengers or a lot of cargo the truck won't list, number three if like me and you do alot of towing the loaded trailer won't sag the rear end down and the springs become stiffer with added air pressure for better handling and safer towing and while off road if you are doing a steep up or down traverse or a ledge you press a button and gain two extra inches of clearence to help clear this big *** the disco has. i'm courious as to why somebody would'nt want air unless your a cheap bastard who's too lazy to fix the system if something should go out. but thats fine you cheap lazy people keep my spair air parts in stock :sport_box:

There are many reasons I like air springs. Actually, one of the resons I got the D2 because of this.

Very frequently you see guys wheeling on these tough trails but they never carry anything. I usually hit the beaten path fully loaded.

My last rig was a fully loaded JK with 2.5 inch lift and 34's. The thing was a tractor! Can get through anything but loaded it up and it just didn't behave the same. Load capacity was 900 lbs.

The D2's capacity is 1600 lbs! That's more than some small pickups. And it stays level.

It is an expensive and complex system but when everything works right it super!
