We have an Ezi-awn RTT and it is fairly roomy for 2 people even with gear bags lined up down the sides at night. I like to have a clock at hand to check if it is really time to get up because the tent can be pretty dark until the sun is fully up. The pile of clothes is not a good place to rest a clock so I made this little shelf that rests on the pole and works nicely to hold a clock up above the pile of clothes.

Shelf sliding onto the test pole
Shelf tilted down into position on the test pole.
Shelf in action inside the tent.
I put a piece of the rubber tool box liner inside the slot to keep it from sliding. It works well. I may try putting some of the liquid rubber for dipping plier handles, etc. inside the slot so there isn't a loose piece of material to keep track of.
