Smittybilt XRC 10 Problems :(

I have a Smittybilt XRC10 that was given to me, but it needs a control box. I'm having a hard time finding a stock replacement, as the winch is out of production. Does anyone know where I could get one, or even what other solenoid/control module would function with this winch?
Thanks!

I have the same winch but haven't looked at my control box in a long time as it's hidden behind the bumper (I remote mounted it)

In theory, you should be able to make pretty much any solenoid box work. They all do the same things. They won't be a direct bolt on and you'll have to pull out the trusty meter to figure out what's what, or you might be able to find installation manuals from both the Smitty and the donor and suss it out that way.

I'd suggest trying Harbor Frieght's Badlands 10K winch. HF often has parts available by mail for their stuff if you read the manuals that come with them - there will likely be PNs in it somewhere. And I'm not sure, but I have a suspicion the HF may be made in the same Chinese factory as the SB, so it may indeed be a direct swap.

Look up the max amps your winch can draw, then pick a solid state control box from a winch that draws a similar or greater number of amps.
