What snatch block are you guys running? I recently upgraded my winch line to 3/8" from 5/16". So I need a new snatch block that will accommodate 3/8" synthetic line.
Currently using an ARB snatch block. Works just fine. Used it the other day when doing monthly winch maintenance just for giggles. Haven't used it in anger in 5 years or so.
What snatch block have you been using that won't work with 3/8".
Even my nearly 40 year old Warn will, not that I'd use it with synthetic now since I've always run wire rope.
Either of the ARBs will work. I like the MasterPull block made specifically for synthetic. It is lighter and functions better with syn line. I have it right now in the shop recovery bag.

I carry one of ours in my recovery bag as well, and really like it. They're made locally, all in the USA, and are a true quality piece. Check them out! http://www.masterpull.com/snatch-block-sbo30000/
Used it a few times with my 5/16" synthetic winch line. Works fine. That said, I bought it about 10 years ago and it was pretty much the only reasonably priced one on the market at the time. I'd go with the masterpull now.
I like my ABR 9000 Ultra lite block but it's not really light at 5.5 lbs. Works for 1/4-1/2"
20k lb work load limit, 38.5k lb breaking strength.
I use it with my M12000 winch. I figured worse case scenario, double line pull would exert 24k lb of force. Logic might be off but that's how I decided.
