Up for sale is a Snugpak Antarctic RE 4 season extreme weather sleeping bag. It has a comfort rating of -20 Celcius and an extreme rating at -50 Celcius. Used only once on a car camping trip. Brand new condition, no stains, tears, rips etc etc. Includes original tags and compression sack.
This is a synthetic (Reflecta therm) fill bag with a water resistant shell and center zipper. Easy to get in and out of, will retain warmth even when wet, will dry quickly and far more durable than down. Olive green in color. The one time I used it was when camping in a hammock, in shenandoah park, with 50 mph gusts and -15 C. I slept in my pajamas. It is that warm.
I am selling because I never ended up doing extreme winter camping, as anticipated and always ended up with 3 season backpacking trip. Looking to use the money to get something I would use more often during my trips.
