SOLD SOLD

This is a 2015 Flip-pac for a short bed 5’ bed. It is on a 2012 Taco DCSB.
Located in Scottsdale, Arizona 85255

This one is specific for the Tacoma as when I was looking (for 10 months before I gave up and placed an order (then waited another 6 months)) some of the used ones required a metal plate at the front because they were too short and they were wider than the cab to (which were designed for the Nissan)

The torsion bar metal was supposed to be updated and it works perfectly but just so you know an even better one is being built at half the cost Flippac wanted.
There is a 3rd party that makes $299 torsion bars https://swayaway.com/product-category/torsion-bars/tb-flippac/

Mine is basically as new and used on 3 trips, no dogs/cats have been in it, it hasn't been smoked in, and I haven't cooked in it so there are no smells. I have extra support and some other misc hardware that I thought might fail off road.
It does have the front window with slide to access the camper from inside the truck.
I had a bunch of options added to mine to deal with the problems I saw in my 10 month search for a used one for a short bed.
I saw them crack in the corners and middle of the rear window, plus the tents were way worse on the early ones.
I wanted security so no side windows and I had them lay up extra fiberglass for strength on the sides and corners. There are no cracks and I have off-roaded this because it hasn't come off my truck since I had it installed in LA.
I had them fiberglass in a bar above the rear flip up glass to install an awning to and to strengthen it.
I also made sure that I had the option to attach an awning to either side of the shell so at the top they fiber glassed in support the length on both sides. I was going to install a hotwater tank/mixer with hose outside and had them install 2 extra 1 foot approx. pieces of wood in the fiberglass just like the other side that has the lights mounted. this would let me cut holes in the camper for the hoses without weakening the shell.

I also have the SloSail with 6 vents and 4 windows and extra mounts for high winds.. but found only 4 were needed for the 1 rain i had in Zion which had 40mph winds and blew down a 6 persons coleman tent completely. I had no water in my tent and with the extra vents I didn't have any condensation on the walls of the tent inside. the fly was $485 plus shipping with the options.

Here is the Rain fly used once – plus I love how much light it cuts out so you can sleep in. You can choose to have the 2 windows where you sleep or over the bed like I did to block more light

I'll attach pictures. This does have carpet finishing the inside. I also have bed cover plates that let you remove the plastic tops that flex with the camper on the truck that are powder coated. This makes the sides of the bed the same height as the front of the bed and makes it easier to seal.

SOLD (except the bed plates (trying to find out if I need this for my next camper) and for gas (14 mpg/food and lodging if necessary I can drive it within 2 states.))
if I don't get this then I will build out my interior to have heaters, cabinets, etc, otherwise I'm hoping to get a slide in that is already built but the cost for that is pretty brutal.

If you wanted AT adventures in Prescott to install it, I could talk to them and drive it up there to be removed so you could schedule an install (they do a much better job than the simple foam that flippac put on my rails.)
if you give me your email address I will email you pictures 00ian.roberts@gmail.com (yes the first two digits are zero's)
