SOLD*** This is a unicorn FJ40 if your in a smog state (CA Smog Passed / Registration good until April 2021). 1977 Toyota Land Cruiser, FJ40, 4X4, has all original Toyota smog equipment, unmolested, kept OEM as much as possible, I live in Irvine CA 92618, purchased it about 5 years ago, all dry states history, desirable 2F in-line 6 cylinder engine year, Vintage Air air conditioning upgrade blows ice cold, I have used power steering parts and new roof liner in a roll that comes with sale should you want to install it, I removed the old head liner as it was 40 years old so now its the bare fiberglass ceiling ready for new headliner, 31” tires, rare vintage warn winch that works, 2 1/2" old man emu lift, aftermarket disc breaks all around, LED headlights upgrade, 300 amp buss fuse for winch, driver seat moved back 2" for extra comfort, full roll cage added to front driver / passenger area for extra safety (rear FJ roll cage is still there), frame on newer exterior paint job with factory sky blue paint code, interior paint is all original still shows its character, history, in a well used desirable classy way, rhino type lining floors and undercoating, I don't see any major rust areas body and frame is solid, just small spots in the usual areas, mostly surface for a 40 year old vehicle thats never been frame off, no diamond rear plate corners, etc. odometer showing 79,000 miles, all electronics and gauges are working, excellent looking and running condition. Reason for sale is I have 3 kids all under 6 years old now so I think its time for a 3 child-seats friendly truck now. I have additional $10,000+ spent on new parts, maintenance, after I bought it around 5 years ago, etc. with receipts and papers to show the work done by TLC aka ICON shop. Although I have a new oil pan theres a super tiny oil leak which I have no time to look into with these these 3 kids. Probably a new gasket would fix that, I imagine a easy fix if your mechanically inclined. This 40 is for the person thats not afraid to use it as it was intended while driving something that turns heads. More detailed video, and Pictures web-links below:
