For Sale - For Trade
June 1983 FJ 60. The reason I am selling my truck is I just bought a 1990 FJ 75 and I don't need two "older" Landcruisers. My wife just bought a 19' Center Console and it would be nice to have a 100 series or possibly a 80 series for her to tow the boat with. So I would consider a fairly stock 100 series or a 96-97 80 series, depending on the truck I am prepared to kick in some money along with my truck. I am asking $8500 for my truck.
All of the work that I have done to the truck has been within the last year. When I bought the truck it was a basket case, but the motor had recently been rebuilt (less than 5000 miles ago) and the body and frame were solid. Since them I swapped some body panel onto the truck and since it was three different colors then, I decided to repaint the truck back to the original 464 Dune Beige. The driver's side rear quarter had two small spots of rust, both the size of a quarter that were fixed. The paint job is nothing special, some runs and dings still showing, kinda a "50 footer." This truck is not a show truck, it was built to be a daily driver and still be a good trail truck, so the paint job was not the highest priority, I just wanted it all one color.

The seats have been recovered and are in good shape. The head liner and dash are also very good. The PO removed the carpet from the rear of the truck, so I just cut a rubber bed mat and cover it. The PO also decided to remove the carpet from just the driver's side front floor, so I also covered it w/ a heavy rubber mat.
All in all this truck will not win any beauty contest, but I built it to drive to and take on the trail. I also wanted it to be super simple and bullet proof, all while staying 100% Toyota. This is a very strong truck and I would not hesitate to drive it anywhere.
