SOLD 1989 “Final Series” Jeep Grand Wagoneer
located in Paso Robles, CA
Call or text me at (831) 68two-O8one3
This is your opportunity to own a piece of American history--and use it! This Jeep was built to be a reliable daily driver and expedition overland vehicle. The 5.3 LS engine and 6 speed transmission were carefully chosen for their well known reliability, plentiful power, and respectable fuel economy (this Jeep can easily achieve 18mpg on the highway). The swap was done using as many OEM GM parts as possible so in the off chance that you need to make a repair, sourcing replacements in any auto parts store will be easy. The AC blows ice cold and uses a combination of GM and original Wagoneer parts. After being disappointed by off the shelf suspension options we set out to design something better and succeeded. The custom tuned Fox coilover shocks are perfectly at home on the street, desert, or mountain roads and will keep you comfortable and in control.
Powertrain/Drivetrain:
GM 5.3 LC9 Gen IV LS Engine (aluminum block, aluminum head)
Cold A/C
6L80e 6 speed automatic transmission
NP241c transfer case with low range
Dana 44 front and rear axles
Suspension:
Custom 3” lift premium suspension
Front:
Fox 2.0” 10” travel remote reservoir dual rate coilover shocks
3 link w/ panhard bar link suspension design
2” solid aluminum control arms with 1.25 Currie Johnny Joints
Anti sway bar
Rear:
Custom 3” lift leaf springs
Bilstein 5160 remote reservoir shocks
33”x10.5” BFG KO2 Tires (5 total, 5th on matching stock alloy wheel)
*This Jeep is currently registered in California and comes with a clean California Title. However, the engine swap has not yet been approved. If you are located within California, getting the swap emissions approved will be up to you and may not be possible. I am able to provide further information to serious buyers. Willing to deliver within western U.S… maybe further?
The bad:
The body is pretty straight but there is some surface rust in the rear lower quarter panels, tailgate, and near the fuel filler. There is no significant rust on the frame.
