SOLDUp for sale is my cherished 1995 Mitsubishi Montero SR. It has 148K miles over 20 year lifetime (7400/yr avg). This is a WEST COAST vehicle, it has spent 18 yrs on the west coast and the last 2 yrs here in NY. It has always been garaged here in NY and only driven in the winter when the conditions demanded a 4x4 (its my 3rd vehicle)...this vehicle is not a daily driver and has been well maintained and taken care of. No rust on the exterior body with only light surface rust starting to form on the underbody. I have the car fax available upon request.
DETAILS:
BFG all terrain tires with nearly full tread, 33x10.5 (purchased brand new at 143K (have receipt to prove, worth $800)
NGK plugs and wires and coil packs replaced at 140K
Rear premium rotors replaced at 135K
Front Premium rotors replaced at 141K
Front and rear premium ceramic brake pads at 141K
Timing belt and water pump replaced at 134K (by a mitsu tech)
Aftermarket tint at 136K
mobil one filters and mobil one full synthetic oil changes only
Has push button adjustable shocks for smoother or stiffer ride depending on terrain.
Has push button power mode, normal mode, hold mold.
This is a monster off road vehicle and tackles snow like dry pavement. 4wd options include
-AWD option
-4Hi Locked
-4Lo Locked
-Center differential Locker
-Rear differential Locker (push button)
**Montero is lifted (2 inch coil spacers in back and 2 inches torsion bar crank)
*valve guide seals are worn, as most all monteros are that haven't had them replaced... You just get some smoke out the tailpipe after a long idle
The SUV is in full working condition and needs nothing. There are a few scrape marks on the base board trim (in pics). This SUV is ready for towing (has a nice tow hitch and electrical hook ups). Tachometer is the only thing that doesnt work but it didnt work when I bought it. This montero is the SR premium version and comes with the 3.5 DOHC engine. As a bonus this vehicle is exempt from NYS emission testing due to its age (if your in NYS). Could use an internal cleaning, I might do it if I get the time. I do not have the 3rd row seats. Out of state people are welcome (fly in, drive out), its the reason why im posting this vehicle on the forums (where Im from Gen 2 montys dont exist). I'm located in Rochester NY.
