False Rear floor carpeted, easier tie downs

90 plus high res photos here: Link

Current Issues:
Headliner is sagging in places
Dents/Dings as noted in pictures, operator error, no auto accidents, trail accidents...
One HID light on the bumper comes on and off, I have brand new one included in the sale.
Emergency brake boot is worn and could be replaced along with HI/LO/Center Diff Lock boot cover.
Drivers side mirror is loose – motor works fine and adjusts the mirror it’s the manual movement mechanism that is warn. It stays in the same spot unless you are in light brush.
No windshield wiper bottle, need an alternative solution (pumps and sprayers work fine just need to purchase and mount new smaller bottle)

Maintenance
Maintained by an ex-Scottsdale LR mechanic on the side or RoverTechs in Scottsdale. All fluids are changed and flushed annually regardless of mileage. I have had a ton of fun with this LR with my sons 12, 10 and 8. It’s been used appropriately since I bought it in 2006 from a gentleman in Oregon. He indicated he purchased it from the President of ARB North America and when purchased had a mild lift and lockers. I cannot confirm. When I purchased it had 52k miles. This is my 6th LR and 3rd Discovery and been the most reliable and taken me to great places. I will transfer all the paperwork/receipts I have upon successful sale. FYI, this is not my daily driver, just used for local camping trips with friends and family, hence the lower miles still.

For the money it’s hard to beat this much truck ‘ready to go’. For me, too much going on and doesn’t get used like it used to. Not forced to sell. Hope it finds a great home. I will have the Disco detailed before pick-up.

Please contact me via PM or email mfreeman17@gmail.com. Thanks for looking. Happy to answer any questions.

Not included from photos:
Trailer :)
Powertank and Powertank accessories

Sorry to see it go Mark.

I'm a Land Cruiser guy, but have wheeled many times in this Disco. Great platform, extremely capable, meticulously maintained, and all the upgrades you could want. If you're in the market for a Disco, this is the one.

A seemingly marvelous Land Rover made for exploring the far yonder. If I wasn't so aged, sickly and debilitated I would go for it. Great luck on the sale. May it find a good home.

Hello Expo Members - I'm hoping to get some realistic offers from the community in the next day or two. Send me a reasonable offer.

Alternatively, I'll resort to Ebay after Sunday night. Thanks again for looking and hopefully it finds a good home.

Even if it's sold - I thought maybe the other's opinions on this might still be of value to myself and anyone else in my situation.

Good morning,

I am looking for a camping rig for the wife/dog and myself. We don't want to do any rock crawling, and this will be a surplus vehicle for us, so it doesn't need to have heated seats etc.

We're just looking for something comfy that can capably take us on forest service roads/unmaintained roads without having to worry. No I'm not planning on doing anything else crazy or adding a CB or a fridge etc.

We don't need a roof top tent, we just like to go hang out in the woods! I drove a couple of used LR4s and really liked them, compared them to some RR and LR2s and basically decided the LR/Disco platform would be a fun addition. The problem with all those though is I can't see spending that much for a weekend/camping/toy of a vehicle. This is where your truck comes in. The problem is, I don't know much about at all about land rovers - besides a fair amount I've read on expo portal and what preconceived african safari notions I have in my head. I know even less on the value of a used one.

So what's a reasonable price? What does your timeline to sell look like? We're moving across the country this summer and am already looking at shipping 2 cars from SC - CA so I'm not certain I want to add a third until we get to CA. Alternatively, if it's reliable enough it could be a great way to get ourselves (and the furr child) across the country and enjoy the forest along the way.

What else can you tell me about your truck. What's it worth to you to go to a good home? I'm reasonably handy, I can certainly fix just about everything around my house, I do basic auto maintenance on all my cars (oil changes, fuel filters, spark plugs, air filters, transmission fluids, did a timing belt on my Suby, etc).

Bottom line we want a reasonably priced fun truck for running to lowes on the weekend, getting my surfboards to the beach and back, and going camping and backpacking/exploring with the dog.

Your truck seems to me to be a good fit, what are your thoughts?

Looking forward to hearing from you!
